"The aim of this project is to deconstruct dominant perceptions of “threats” to security, both individual and communal, in a global context."
" Deconstructing the understanding of swine flu as a “real” threat does not intend to suggest that it is not an issue, which merits attention and action. It does however, intend to sensitize our acceptance of generated threats, whereby we give weight to the fact that we might not have access to all or clean information or we understand the threat in a relative manner. "
